Why is it that you always get offered the most work when you’re away on holiday!?

No doubt I’ll come back to a barren wastleland.

Anyhow, LATITUDE was fun! Hard work though. I’ll let you know if the film goes up anywhere, we just provided the footage so the edit is in the hands of the Gods.. or rather ‘Nye’ from Future Cinema

For anyone who may of stumbled this way, and not come via the website.. here is our showreel, fresh of the tube:

For now x

Okay Manchester is wet. I’ve never experienced so much raininess. And I’m from the North East.

I’m mainly writing to tell you that I finally have an offline edit of ‘Dirty Egg’, the short film produced by LCM and written and directed by the very talented Patrick Coyle. It’s incedibly funny (in a dark/ shouldn’t be quite so funny kind of way) but it’s also inredibly long. Next step is to get it to Dickkie, our wonderful editor who will string it together in HD ready for festivals.

I’m hoping we can jump onto a festival with this before the year is out, hopefully screening in Manchester and Birmingham.

I’m off to get waterproofed.

Hello there chaps and chapettes,

Our website is now up and running at www.lcmdigital.com though it is likely that you’ve just come from there so hey…

We’ll be putting more stuff up there over the coming months and keeping you upto date here on debagged.

In other news, I have made the leap to Manchester and it went without a hitch.. I’m now looking at settling in to the culture and lifestyle that the Northern Quarter promotes. I’ve already found a greasy spoon to help me through those Sunday blues.

I went to an interesting talk by Alistair Sim from ‘Love Creative’ the other day.. they’ve got some really interesting bits and bobs on their blog at http://www.lovecreative.com/blog/

I’m working on various bits and bobs at the moment, developing websites for Manchester Young Solicitors and my own venture NQ. I’ll provide more details on both as they happen.

I’m also off to the Latitude festival next weekend to film Guillemots performing around David Lynch’s ‘Eraserhead’. Should be awesome I reckon!

And for fun me and Robs (the ladyfriend) are hiring a campervan and trundling around Wales, finishing at the Big Chill and stopping off for footy and BBQ goodtimes with Jon and the Birmingham gang on the way! Summer has landed.

Love,

Stu
